Dr. Degha Fongod is a highly accomplished physician with a diverse and impressive background in both internal and aesthetic medicine. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Juniata College, where she also minored in Religious Studies. Dr. Fongod continued her education at Ross University School of Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at St. Mary's Hospital, Yale-New Haven.
Driven by a passion for patient care and a commitment to addressing the unique health needs of people of color, Dr. Fongod founded Delight Medical and Aesthetics. At Delight Medical and Aesthetics, she practices both internal and aesthetic medicine, with a primary focus on treating skin and health conditions that disproportionately affect people of color.
In addition to her medical practice, Dr. Fongod is a prolific content creator on social media, with a following of over 70,000 individuals. She educates her audience on skincare and strategies to reverse conditions related to insulin resistance, including Type 2 Diabetes, Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), and High Blood Pressure.
